Most of us have been working for the same company for many years. The job can be very stressful and we all hope something is going to change. We all want a promotion, you are doing more then others at work, or you have been comfortable doing the same desk job since your last promotion. Overtime you begin to think, why am I so tired after work? Why do I hate my job so much? Should I just quit or should I go? That’s when I had the motivation to explore other career options.
I came across a YouTube video about affiliate marketing to earn money online from home. You can promote any product or service on your website or blog and then earn money when someone buys a product after clicking on an affiliate link provided by you on your website or blog post. This type of earning comes under ‘Pay Per Click’ model where you pay only when someone clicks on your advertisement banner/link while surfing through Google, Yahoo! or other search engines websites. This type of advertising allows you to reach out to targeted audience who may be interested in buying a particular product/service at that time based on what they have searched for online before visiting.
I knew it was going to be a journey to start my own business, but it can be very rewarding as well. I loved the idea of being able to do something that I am passionate about and helping others at the same time. Being my own boss was no longer a dream. I thought, what if I applied the same energy where I worked at for many years and direct it to a better future instead of staying at a dead-end job which has no hope of giving satisfaction in life.
